An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Driven, the 1923 Charles Brabin silent family relationship bootlegging hillbilly romantic love triangle melodrama ("The dramatic gem of the year"; based on the story 'The Flower of the Flock' by Jay Gelzer; about a mountain girl whose bootlegger father is killed, and she moves in with a family of bootleggers, and she falla in love with one brother, but another brother wants her, and it turns out that he also is the person who killed her father!) starring Charles Emmett Mack (billed as "Charles E. Mack courtesy of D.W. Griffith"), Elinor Fair, Burr McIntosh, Emily Fitzroy, George Bancroft (in his third movie role!), Fred Koser, and Ernest Chandler. Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good.
