Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Folded Style B Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window, the classic 1954 Alfred Hitchcock (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) thriller ("The master of suspense brings you his masterpiece!"; "Based on the short story by Cornell Woolrich"; "Screenplay by John Michael Hayes"; about a man who breaks his leg and is forced to stay at his home until he's better; during this time he observes his neighbors and does some voyeuristic detective work) starring James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; as Jeff), Grace Kelly (as Lisa), Wendell Corey (as Detective Lt. Doyle), Thelma Ritter (as Stella), Raymond Burr (as Lars Thorwald), Judith Evelyn (as Miss Lonelyhearts), Georgine Darcy (as Miss Torso), Jesslyn Fax (as Miss Hearing Aid), Rand Harper, Havis Davenport (Harper and Davenport played the "newlyweds"), and Ross Bagdasarian (as the "Songwriter"). Note that Raymond Burr had appeared in movies for seven years before this, but always had minor roles, usually playing the "heavy". Condition: very good. the poster was paperbacked; prior to paperbacking the poster had creases along the foldlines and a slightly diagonal crease in the middle of the left half of the poster, slightly below the middle foldline; it also had pinholes, creases, smudges, and small tears around the edges of the poster, slightly extending into the image background areas. During the paperbacking process, the defects described above were greatly minimized! When one looks at the poster from inches away, one can see traces of the restoration, but from any distance away, there is little sign of it and the poster looks great!
