Road House, the 1948 Jean Negulesco romantic love triangle crime film noir ("Story by Margaret Gruen and Oscar Saul"; "Screen Play by Edward Chodorov"; about the owner of a road house/bowling alley who is in love with his singer, but she loves the manager of the road house, and the owner frames the manager and has him released in his custody, then does all he can to stop their romance!) starring Ida Lupino, Cornel Wilde, Celeste Holm (in her fifth movie role!), Richard Widmark, O.Z. Whitehead, Robert Karnes, George Beranger, Ian MacDonald, and Grandon Rhodes
