Also included is a 12 x 15 ad supplement that has 4 pages, and a 8 x 11 herald that has 4 pages (Learn More) Barefoot in the Park, the 1967 Gene Saks New York City Central Park Manhattan romantic newlywed comedy ("Wake up! Break the rules! Rock the boat! Make love! Fall over laughing!!!"; "The barest rarest, unsquarest love play that ever left Broadway to find happiness on the big wide color screen!"; "From the play by Neil Simon") starring Robert Redford, Jane Fonda, Charles Boyer, Mildred Natwick (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), James Stone, and Herb Edelman NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that when studios would prepare pressbooks they would often include a sample of the herald. Most often, the herald is no longer still with the pressbook. Sometimes, the herald by itself will sell for almost as much as the rest of the entire pressbook! This pressbook contains the original herald which is pictured next to the pressbook below. Note that pressbooks were prepared prior to a film being released. Often, changes would be made in a film advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed. These supplements are very rare, far more rare than the pressbooks themselves! Some pressbooks would have no supplements, some would have one, and some would have several. Almost every Academy Award winning film would have a special "Academy Award winner" supplement. Condition: very good. The pressbook, herald, and supplement were folded in half at one time. Page 3 of the pressbook has discoloration from the herald. "6931" is written in marker in the top right corner of the front cover.
