The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on many parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. After the poster was backed, it acquired water staining in the lower right of the image (to the right of the hat of the boy. That water staining caused large creases in the solid black area. It also acquired water staining scattered across the bottom border and water stains in the lower right blank border to the right of the title. One could either live with these defects or have additional restoration performed (either with or without re-backing the poster), but bear all this in mind before bidding on this rare poster.
