An Original 1972 Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" [17 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Raquel Welch was an actress and sex symbol from the 1960s to the 2020s. She was the daughter of a Bolivian father and Irish-American mother, and in the early 1960s, she met one-time child actor and Hollywood agent, Patrick Curtis, who became her personal and business manager. They developed a plan to turn her into a sex symbol starting in 1963. Some of her movies include: One Million Years B.C., Bandolero, Fantastic Voyage, Kansas City Bomber, and Hannie Caulder. She passed away in 2023 at the age of 82.
Important Added Info: Note that this still was taken in 1972 when Raquel Welch was filming Hannie Caulder in Spain. We know that, because this is from the same group of photographs of Miss Welch on the set as the similar photos taken of her playing soccer on the set! Right before this, she had attended a soccer match in England, and photographer Terry O'Neill convinced her to do a special photo shoot, and in some of them she is wearing a Chelsea jersey (one of the two soccer teams in the match she attended). We recently auctioned five great photos that were taken during that photography shoot, and this still, like each of those stills, has an ink pad stamp on back that reads "Photograph by Terry O'Neill, Copyright Hatton". In this wonderful candid, she is standing outside the saloon from the movie, and she is wearing "street clothes", not her costume, and she has on her glasses! We are separately auctioning another candid from this photo session where she is in her Hannie Caulder costume pointing a gun. Also note that this still measures 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" [17 x 24 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Also note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock.

Condition: very good to fine. The still is in very nice condition! There are tiny white spots to the right of Raquel, but these are part of the printing and not paper loss.
