Peerless Smiley... for fun and tunes!"; "The gun-smokin'est, fun-pokin'est western team ever!"; "Burstin' with bullets and ballads!") starring Charles Starrett ("as the Durango Kid"), Smiley Burnette ("The West's No.1 Comic"), Mary Newton, Fred F. Sears, and Frank Rice & Ernest Stokes (billed as "Mustard and Gravy"; they were musicians from North Carolina who appeared together in four B-westerns in 1947 and 1949)
