Ross Lederman romantic crime mystery melodrama ("Plenty of excitement when a detective trails a girl after his own heart... with a gun!"; "A dame with a diamond - both phoney - matches wit with the perfect sleuth in a mile-a-minute crooks tour of scheme-lined fun!"; "Perfect sleuth joins a gem of a thief!"; about a pretty young woman who steals a very valuable diamond, and she is trying to get away with it while the police, a private detective, and gangsters are all trying to get it away from her) starring Ralph Bellamy, Joan Perry, Douglass Dumbrille, George McKay, Gene Morgan, and Joe Twerp. Note that Joan Perry had been a former model who was discovered by Columbia head Harry Cohn. He put her in a bunch of movies, and then married her, and in 1941, she retired.
