eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 2p1882 HOW HIGH IS UP 7.25x9 still 1940 Three Stooges Moe, Larry & Curly w/Bruce Bennett, ultra rare! Date Sold 8/2/2022Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) How High is Up?, the 1940 Del Lord slapstick comedy short (the Stooges start out as inept repairmen and then end up as riveters on a skyscraper, 97 floors up, with predictable results!) starring The Three Stooges (Curly Howard, Larry Fine , Moe Howard), Bruce Bennett (as "Workman with Leaky Lunchpail"!), and Edmund Cobb. Note that Bruce Bennett had been a star in the 1930s as Herman Brix. But his career dried up not too long before he made this movie, and he spent a lot of the 1940s in minor roles like this one, before he had a major turnaround, and got better roles, especially in Treasure of Sierra Madre in 1948. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a key book still (which sold for $350) from this movie, and NO other movie paper, until we received this second still! Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/4" x 9" [18 x 23 cm]. Condition: good. The still was neatly trimmed around the edges and there is much staining on the back, but it has little effect on the front. Learn More about condition grades
