An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Double-Sided Advance Japanese "B1" Movie Poster (29x41; measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]) (Learn More) Gake no ue no Ponyo (released in the U.S. in 2009 as "Ponyo" and also released as "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea"), the 2008 Hayao Miyazaki Japanese Studio Ghibli family fantasy animated animation anime adventure cartoon ("Welcome To A World Where Anything Is Possible."; "From Deep Under The Sea Comes A Magical New Adventure"; "From Academy Award Winning Director Hayao Miyazaki") featuring the voices (in Japanese) of Yuria Nara (in the title role as Ponyo), Hiroki Doi, Joji Tokoro, Tomoko Yamaguchi, Yuki Amami, and Kazushige Nagashima, and featuring the voices (in English) of Cate Blanchett, Noah Cyrus, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Frankie Jonas, Cloris Leachman, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin, and Betty White NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Also note that this is an advance Japanese poster (note the "7.19" at the bottom of the poster). Also note that this is a double-sided poster. From the 1990s on, movie posters were often made in double-sided versions (for use in light boxes). If we do not note that a poster is double-sided (as this is), then it is single-sided. Note that the image on the reverse is a mirror image of the image on the front! Finally, note that this is a rare Japanese "B1" poster that measures 28 1/2" x 40 1/2" [72 x 103 cm]! "B1" posters are FAR more rare than "B2" posters (which measure approximately 20" x 28 1/2"), and because they are larger (similar in size to a U.S. one-sheet), they are more impressive when displayed on a wall! Condition: good to very good. There is a 1 1/4" tear in the upper right edge of the poster that has been repaired with tape from the back. There are minor creases scattered throughout the poster but they are not very noticeable or distracting and the poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
