A Lot of 11 Original Vintage Magazines (measures 8 1/2" x 10 3/4" [22 x 27 cm]) (Learn More) a lot of 11 magazines, containing issues from January, 1956; February, 1956; March, 1956; April, 1956; May, 1956; June, 1956; July, 1956; September, 1956; October, 1956; November, 1956; December, 1956, of Screen Stories, one of the many movie magazine sold to the public. Each issue features a great full color cover of a leading star of the day, plus condensed short "novelizations" of a group of then-currently playing movies (one would be longer and run as a "complete novel", and some "special features", which were typical publicity stories like what was then in other movie magazines). Each of the novelizations has lots of sepia images taken from the movie, plus portraits of some of the stars. Also, in every issue are many wonderful vintage ads, some in color and some in black and white, and sometimes the ads can be just as much fun as the original stories and pictures. Of course, some of the ads are from movies that were about to open, and in the early days of eBay, people would remove those full-page ads and auction them by themselves, and they would often sell for $10, $20, or more, just for a single movie ad removed from a magazine just like this!
