An Undated (probably 1920s) Re-Release Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Seventeen, the 1916 Robert G. Vignola silent romantic love triangle teenage comedy melodrama ("Louise Huff & Jack Pickford in a picturization of Booth Tarkington''s Seventeen"; about an unsophisticated 17 year old man who falls for a pretty girl, and spends all his money on her, but then she ditches him, and he considers suicide until he falls for a different pretty girl) starring Louise Huff, Jack Pickford, Winifred Allen, Madge Evans, and Walter Hiers. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
