If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases, scuffs, and tiny tears on parts of the foldlines. It had two extra slightly diagonal horizontal folds 3" above and below the regular middle fold, and also a 10" tear starting near the top of the first "D" of the title and running across the center of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. At some point after it was backed, it was roughly handled and there are now creases in the right border (in the poster and the linen), but it is very slight, and only near the top and bottom of the right blank border.
