An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Movie 8" x 9 3/4" [20 x 25 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Jane Wyman was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: The Lost Weekend, My Man Godfrey, Blue Veil (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Magnificent Obsession (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Yearling (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Johnny Belinda. In the late 1930s, she appeared with Ronald Reagan in a movie, and married him in 1940, and they were divorced in 1948, having had two children. She played Angela Channing on TV's "Falcon Crest" throughout the 1980s. Wyman passed away in 2007 at the age of 90. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Jane Wyman (it is a vintage still that was signed at a later date)! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. Also note that this still is a key book still, printed on a deluxe heavyweight paper stock. Many studios spent extra money to have their most special photos, the key book stills, either backed with linen or printed on a heavy paper, both of which enhanced their durability. They had an extra 1" at the left or top, with punch holes, because of how they were stored. Key book stills are far more rare than regular stills, which has increased their popularity among collectors, since only a few keybooks were manufactured per film, and a key book still is guaranteed to be authentic. Someone trimmed away the extra 1" from the top of the still. Finally, note that the movie referred to on the snipe ("The Spy Ring") is called "International Spy" on the back of this still, which was the working title for that movie! As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes. Condition: very good.
