Artist: Tom Jung Important Added Info: NOTE THAT THIS POSTER HAS A MUCH DARKER, RICHER BLUE BACKGROUND THAN OTHER EXAMPLES OF THIS POSTER WE HAVE SEEN. But we have examined the poster very closely, and it is surely an original poster, and the dark blue color is surely how it was printed. Perhaps, due to the great popularity of this movie, there was more than one print run of this poster, and during this particular print run, a brighter background color was used, or perhaps the executives decided they preferred the lighter blue color. We have auctioned 30 style B inserts from this movie, and only nine (including this one) have been this dark blue style, and the others have been the "regular" light blue style. The last example of this dark blue style we auctioned sold for $410! Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has really faint brown stains in the top right corner, with some above the letters and one below the "E" of "CONTINUES". It has similar very faint brown staining in the bottom extending to the bottom of the credits in two areas. I would think many collectors could live with this as it is, or certainly, a restorer could repair this defect, likely without backing the poster. Learn More about condition grades
