An Original Vintage Autographed 4" x 6" [10 x 15 cm] Postcard (Learn More) Mary Martin was an actress from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Peter Pan (the TV version of her great Broadway success, where she played the title role), Rhythm on the River, Happy Go Lucky, Rage of Paris, Birth of the Blues, and Annie Get Your Gun (in the title role). She passed away in 1990 at the age of 76. Important Added Info: Note that this postcard has been personally autographed (signed) by Mary Martin! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item in a group of similar items from Kensington Estate Auctions as part of the James Frasher estate (he was Lillian Gish's personal assistant). He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased (although we prefer they do any "authenticating" while the auction is "live" and before they place a bid) and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
