An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) It's a Great Life, the 1929 Sam Wood sisters romantic musical comedy (about sisters who work in a department store and they perform in a show at the store, and a man helps them to be a success by joining in, but then, after they have great success on stage, the man wants to leave town with one of the sisters, and will she desert her sister?) starring Rosetta Duncan, Vivian Duncan (billed as "The Duncan sisters"), Lawrence Gray, Benny Rubin, and Jed Prouty. Note that Rosetta and Vivian were often billed as "The Duncan Sisters", and they starred in an adaptation of "Uncle Tom's Cabin" called "Topsy & Eva". NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
