Kelley teen pregnancy anti-abortion melodrama ("The most vital picture of all time"; "It lifts the iron curtain of fear and ignorance"; "2 hours of truths! & Facts!"; "with a Hollywood cast of stars"; "All about delinquent parents... and ...A daughter who paid!"; "Revealing-- 'The Modern Concept Of Sex'"; about a small town girl who gets pregnant on her prom night and ends up attempting to get an illegal abortion) starring Joseph Crehan, Marcia Mae Jones, Jean Fenwick, Don Brodie and John Treul. Note that, as was common with these very frank "sex" movies of the 1930s and 1940s, it was shown separately to men and women (only men and "hi-school boys" were allowed to one showing, and only women and "hi-school girls" allowed to another)! Also note that sometimes this movie was shown with a lecture by a sex expert on stage after the show ("Curtis Hayes Revealing 'The Modern Concept of Sex'"). Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned three examples of this poster, and the last one was 13 years ago! Also note that most 40x60s from this period were printed on a heavy stock and usually only sent to theaters rolled. However, the studios would also sometimes make special 40x60s that were created on a somewhat thinner paper and were folded when they were created. We can't say for certain that this poster was sent to theaters folded, but it is printed on a "one-sheet-like" paper, so we think that is very likely. Finally, note that this poster measures 43" x 60" [109 x 152 cm]. Please do not bid on this poster thinking it measures 40" x 60". Condition: good to very good. There is some slight darkening on parts of the folds and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in a small part of one fold. Learn More about condition grades
