An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) A Tragedy At Midnight, the 1942 Joseph Santley radio show husband/wife murder mystery crime thriller ("Original Story by Hal Hudson and Sam Duncan"; a wild story of a man who hosts a radio show where he solves "unsolvable" cases on the air, and the movie opens with him exposing a murderer on the air, showing the murderer's reaction as he listens to the radio, and also that of the police; it goes on to show him set up for murder where he wakes up drugged next to a dead woman, and his wife walks in on him, and he is arrested, and he must solve the crime himself, because everyone is sure he did it!) starring John Howard, Margaret Lindsay, Keye Luke, Mona Barrie, and Roscoe Karns NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small tears and tiny paper loss scattered on several of the foldlines, and tack holes, stains, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
