She was discovered by Howard Hughes in 1941, and was supposed to star in The Outlaw, but the movie was held up for five years by censorship troubles. Some of her movie roles include: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, His Kind of Woman, The Paleface, Son of Paleface, and The Revolt of Mamie Stover
