An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Bebe Daniels was an actress from the 1910s to the 1930s. She had a long and fascinating career! She was born in 1901, and by 4, she was a stage actress, and had a leading stage role at the age of 7, and started in movies soon after. When she was 14, Hal Roach picked her to be Harold Lloyd's leading lady in the "Lonesome Luke" shorts! Cecil B. DeMille signed her away to Paramount, and she was one of the few major silent stars who had no trouble transitioning to sound (she was also an excellent singer), and she became a bigger star in musicals like "Rio Rita" and "42nd Street". In 1930, she married Ben Lyon, and after her marriage, she made few movies. Some of her other movies include: Counselor at Law, Why Change Your Wife?, and Bumping Into Broadway. She passed away in 1971 at the age of 70. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good. There is slight smudging and dirt stains on the glass (it could likely be cleaned). Otherwise, the slide is in pretty nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
