We have auctioned two examples of the original poster, and they can be distinguished from this reproduction (which looks exactly the same as far as image and printing on the bottom) by the paper quality. This 1990s reproduction has newer glossier paper, and the original poster does not. While this will look attractive on the new owner's wall, we of course do not want the buyer to attempt to sell it as an original, because that would be extremely wrong! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The REPRODUCTION had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some wear on the folds. The top and bottom 1" was folded back at one time and it had pinholes in the corners. It may be that someone intentionally gave this reproduction poster these defects to pass it off as an original, and if so, that is very sad.
