BSA is part of the international Scout Movement and became a founding member organization of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1922. The stated mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to "prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law." Artist: Norman Rockwell Important Added Info: Note that calendars such as this one were distributed with thin metal strips at the top and bottom (so that the calendar would lay flat against the wall). Both metal strips are present. Condition: good to very good. The multi-page calendar has become detached at the upper right staple which caused paper loss in the calendar's base.
