An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Six-Sheet Movie Poster (6sh; measures 81" x 81" [206 x 206 cm]) (Learn More)

Breakfast at Tiffany's, the classic 1961 Blake Edwards New York City romantic love triangle party girl comedy ("Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly... The most hilarious heroine who ever rumpled the pages of a best-selling novel!"; "Audrey Hepburn plays that daring, darling Holly Golightly to a new high in entertainment delight!"; "Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly sparkles her way through everything you've ever wanted to do!"; "Audrey Hepburn as that delightful darling, Holly Golightly, in Breakfast at Tiffany's"; "Every glamorous sensation of the best-seller is on the screen!"; "Audrey Hepburn plays Holly Golightly, the craziest heroine who ever crept between the pages of a best-selling novel!"; "Audrey Hepburn is funny ...sad ...extraordinary ...glamorous as Holly Golightly!"; "Based on a novel by Truman Capote"; "Screenplay by George Axelrod"; with music by Henry Mancini) starring Audrey Hepburn (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role "as that delightful darling, Holly Golightly"), George Peppard (as Paul Varjak), Patricia Neal (as 2E Failenson), Buddy Ebsen (as Doc Golightly), Martin Balsam, Mickey Rooney (in yellowface as Mr. Yunioshi), Jose Luis de Vilallonga, John McGiver, and Orangey (as Cat)

Artist: Robert McGinnis
Important Added Info: Note that in the past 24 years, we have auctioned three examples of this poster (one was before that), and those three auctioned for $7,230, $11,000, and $9,450, making it the most valuable six-sheet from the 1960s by a wide margin, and with good reason! Its image is similar to that which is on the one-sheet, but it is rearranged and it works REALLY well on this size, and this poster will display incredibly on the new owner's wall (and we hope that the owner displays it in a public place, so that many, many people can enjoy it!). Also note that this six-sheet was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap.

Condition: very good. The section at the top left of the poster has staining on the back of parts of the folds (the ones that were on the outside when the poster was fully folded). These falls in the part of the vertical fold to the left and right of the kitten, running down to near Hepburn's waist. The staining is almost completely invisible from the front. There is also staining on the back of the small part of the horizontal fold that runs through Hepburn's chin, but again, it is not visible from the front. There are very tiny tears in the vertical fold in the upper left of Hepburn's dress over a 6" span. The other three sections have very slight darkening on the back of the folds, but no staining, with a tiny number of very tiny tears on parts of some folds. Oddly, that slight darkening on the folds of the other sections slightly shows through to the front in some areas, whereas the staining described above does not! But all of it will vanish during a simple linenbacking. I go into such great detail on the areas of staining on the back, because of the very high value of the poster. As I say, it virtually does not show at all from the front (which you can confirm by looking at our super-sized image), and it will completely vanish when the poster is linenbacked, but we at eMoviePoster.com always give a complete and accurate description of every item, so we wanted to share this information with you, even though it has little effect on the poster (and will have no effect once the poster is linenbacked). Other than the staining on the back, the poster is in really great condition, which can be seen in our image!
