Pan American World Airways: Paris, the 1949 airplane airline aviation travel poster ("Now direct double-decked 'Strato' clipper service") used to encourage people to fly Pan American (Pan Am) World Airways, and featuring Jean Carlu art of a woman holding a rose with Paris locations in the background, including Notre-Dame, the Luxor Obelisk, the Eiffel Tower, and more.

Artist: Jean Carlu

Condition: fair to good. The poster was never folded. It has discoloration, tape stains, creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of the edges (see our image). Some of the tears at top and bottom are quite large and many of the tears are repaired with tape from the back. After proper restoration the poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
