It had a long diagonal tear running below the title, with some small paper loss and stains in that area. It had tears and paper loss around the edges, extending into the background in a number of places. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, and it displays pretty well, but you can see signs of the restoration, especially in the solid blue areas, which have been largely repainted.
