Bucquet & Jack Conway Asian China Japanese-invasion-of-a-Chinese-village melodrama ("MGM's immortal production of the great novel 'Dragon Seed'"; "Based on the novel by Pearl S. Buck") starring Katharine Hepburn, Walter Huston, Aline MacMahon (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Akim Tamiroff, Turhan Bey, Hurd Hatfield, and Frances Rafferty. Note that all of the main cast members were non-Asians and performed in "yellowface" makeup to portray Chinese and Japanese characters. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been machine folded! Most insert posters were folded twice horizontally right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded example of most inserts, especially from before 1970!
