An Original Vintage Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 99 pages) (Learn More)

The Birds II: Land's End, the 1994 Rick Rosenthal (billed as "Alan Smithee") television (TV) avian horror sequel ("Imagine the terror that lies ahead") starring Brad Johnson, Chelsea Field, James Naughton, Jan Rubes, and Tippi Hedren ("as Helen"; who was not playing her character from the first film). Note that Rick Rosenthal is billed as "Alan Smithee", which is a pseudonym that is used whenever a director asks that their name NOT be used, and they replace that name with this!

Important Added Info: Note that this script is the revised draft from April 23, 1993 and the screenplay was written by Ken Wheat & Jim Wheat. However, this is a special script. It belonged to the production designer, and it includes multiple supplements of all kinds, including many pages of "visual effects breakdowns", and all the scenes that require visual effects have those portions of the script highlighted. In addition, this was clearly a difficult production, and the script has a multitude of different colored revision pages. Finally, included with the script is a photocopy of a long multi-page article about the ending of the original "The Birds", and why it was so ambiguous. THE SCRIPT HAS A LABEL FROM THE PRODUCTION COMPANY ON THE COVER. Note that this is one of ten scripts we were consigned from the production designer for those ten movies (and are auctioning in ten separate auctions), and all of them, like this one, are quite different from "regular" scripts, because they have a lot of "extras"!

Condition: very good. See our multiple images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this script.
