A clutching claw at the heart of civilization!"; "Science baits his fury with a woman's beauty!"; "No chains can hold the power of his passions!"; "Terror stalks the city's streets!!"; "Half monster! Artist: Reynold Brown Important Added Info: Note that this poster prominently features an image of the Golden Gate Bridge with the creature in San Francisco! What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had paper loss at the bottom crossfold, small paper loss at the middle crossfold, and the tiniest of paper loss at the top crossfold. It had some vertical tears and extra creases across the bottom horizontal fold, with little wear on the other foldlines. It had some pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges, which affected the end of the tiny litho numbers at bottom right. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer did not replace the tiny missing litho numbers at bottom right (three of the seven numbers are missing). Any restorer could easily paint in those missing three tiny numbers without re-backing the poster, and it displays quite nicely! Learn More about condition grades
