Note that the star of this stage play, Robert Cummings, was no relation to the movie and TV actor of the 1940s on. This Robert Cummings was a stage actor from the 1880s on, and he appeared in 34 movies in the 1920s and 1930s, and he passed away in 1949 at the age of 84, so he lived to see another actor with his same name achieve great success!
