Sidney Blackmer was an actor from the 1920s to the 1970s. Blackmer played Theodore Roosevelt in astounding seven movies! Some of his movies include: The Count of Monte Cristo, Accused of Murder, Rosemary's Baby (as Roman Castavet), and In Old Chicago. He passed away in 1973 at the age of 78.

Important Added Info: Note that this item (which is a contract between Sidney Blackmer and United States Pictures about My Girl Tisa when it had the working title Ever the Beginning) has been personally autographed (signed) by Sidney Blackmer (he played Theodore Roosevelt)! In addition to the contract, there is an addendum which Mr. Blackmer initialed.

Note that our consignor has been a memorabilia dealer for the past 30 years, and he tells us that he is certain this autograph is authentic. In some cases he obtained the autographs in person, and in other cases (like with contracts and agreements), it is obvious the signatures are authentic, but he vouches for the authenticity of every item that he has consigned to us, and we also feel certain that the autographs are authentic.
