I've Always Loved You, the 1946 Frank Borzage romantic concert piano musical melodrama ("A great love story enriched by music and TECHNICOLOR"; "A Distinguished Motion Picture in Romantic TECHNICOLOR"; "Don't say no to me... You are my creation!"; "She gave all a woman has to give... except her love..."; "Screen play by Borden Chase adapted from his American Magazine story 'Concerto'"; "Piano recordings by Artur Rubenstein, World's Greatest Pianist"; about a beautiful young female concert pianist, who is torn between her arrogant maestro, and her farm boy back home) starring Philip Dorn, Catherine McLeod, William Carter, Maria Ouspenskaya (billed as "Mme. Maria Ouspenskaya"), Felix Bressart, Fritz Feld, Elizabeth Patterson, Vanessa Brown, and Lewis Howard. Note that famed pianist Artur Rubinstein (billed as "World's Greatest Pianist") played the piano music heard in the movie, including the piano playing done by the onscreen performers!
