Emerson Radio Corporation is a consumer electronics company from 1915 to the present. The company was founded by Victor Hugo Emerson under the name Emerson Phonograph Company. Emerson Radio & Phonograph converted to military production for World War II in 1942. After the war, they returned to consumer production and between 1948 and 1950, the high demand for television allowed Emerson to begin a high company growth. Emerson is best known for their televisions, home and car audio, and wireless products.

Important Added Info: Note that this really cool advertising brochure, which we have never auctioned before, opens to a poster that measures 33 1/2" x 44", and it shows tons of images of radios and phonographs that Emerson made in 1941!
