An Unfolded Danish Travel Poster (measures 24 1/2" x 39 1/4" [62 x 100 cm]) (Learn More)

SAS: South America, the 1950s or 1960s (see below) Danish airline aviation airplane travel poster promoting travel to South America via Scandinavian Airlines Systems. Note that this poster features colorful Otto Nielsen artwork of a pair of toucans sitting in a jungle tree. Also, note that like many airline travel posters, this artwork was re-used and determining the exact date can be difficult. Luckily, the airplane shown on the posters help to date them! SAS posters with prop planes (often a Douglas DC-6) are generally from the 1950s while jets are from the 1960s.

Condition: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It has a 1" tear in the top border and some creases in the bottom left, but otherwise is in really nice condition and the colors are bright.
