What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but someone tried to trim away the excess linen, and in doing so, they cut a thin strip into the center of the top border of the poster. Only blank white paper was affected, and one could trim away that small area, but bear this in mind (and look at our image) before bidding on this poster. Learn More about condition grades
