He was the Tarzan of the 1950s, then found work in Europe in spaghetti westerns and other genres. He had special success playing "Old Shatterhand" in a series of German westerns, and that made him a cult star in Germany many years after his U.S. fame. Some of his movies include: La Dolce Vita, Crossfire, and Apache Gold. He passed away in 1973 at the age of 54 from a heart attack. It is matted together with a color REPRODUCTION photo, and the entire display is ready to frame and hang on the wall!
