Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was folded across the middle. It had some tears, creases, and small areas of paper loss around the edges, but solely in the white areas and not in the image or title. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
