Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's great drama!"; "Screen Play by John Meehan and Dore Schary"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; a true story, with only slight embellishment, of the great work done by the real-life Father Flanagan; the actual Boys Town was not much different than the one depicted in the movie, but interestingly, due to the overwhelming success of this movie, the real Boys Town has received so many charitable donations over the years that it is a very wealthy institution!) starring Spencer Tracy (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film, as Father Flanagan), Mickey Rooney, Henry Hull, Leslie Fenton, Gene Reynolds, Edward Norris, Bobs Watson, and Bohunk (the dog, as himself!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this title card, and only one in the last 17 years! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are some light stains and creases in the top and right of the card, with a few pinholes and other tiny stains scattered in parts of the borders. There are some brown stains and small areas of surface paper loss on the back of the borders, and they slightly affect the front. Fortunately, the above defects mostly only affect the blank white borders, and the image area is in generally nice condition. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card before placing a bid.
