He was a founding member of The Statler Brothers and the group's original tenor. He suffered from Crohn's disease throughout his life, and it caused him to leave The Statler Brothers more than once, and he passed away in 1990 from complications of the disease, and he was only 52. Important Added Info: This index card has been personally autographed (signed) by Lew Dewitt! The index card could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
