An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Aftermath, the 1914 William Addison Hervey (who also wrote the play this film is based on!) silent medical doctor romantic tragedy melodrama ("Daniel Frohman presents the powerful domestic drama"; "Produced in Motion Pictures by the Famous Players Film Co."; about a small town woman who is an orphan and a small town doctor from a different town, and both go to New York City to seek a better life, and the woman is seduced by a rich man who deserts her, and the doctor accidentally kills a young child, and both of them go to a river to commit suicide, and fortunately, they meet each other, which gives them a reason to live) starring Virginia Pearson, and Owen Moore. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
