An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Desert Command, the 1946 Colbert Clark & Armand Schaefer military French Foreign Legion war melodrama (this was a 70 minute feature film edited from the 1933 serial, "The Three Musketeers") starring John Wayne, Ruth Hall, Jack Mulhall, Robert Frazier, Noah Beery Jr., Lon Chaney Jr., Raymond Hatton, and Ralph Bushman (billed as "Francis X. Bushman, Jr."; son of the famous actor) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this was a feature version of a serial, but that it was not made until thirteen years after the serial's release. The poster offered here is the original poster made for this feature version, and it is very rarely offered! Condition: good to very good. small pair of staple holes at top in Wayne's cheek; 1/4" hole in the middle crossfold; many pairs of staple holes around the edges with some areas of paper loss and tattering from rough removal (see the image at right); bottom 1" folded back at one time; 2" tear and tape stain at in the upper right edge and in the left and right of the bottom edge of the poster; creases, smudges, and scuffs throughout the poster (more so around the edges) Learn More about condition grades
