An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Cappy Ricks, the 1921 Tom Forman silent San Francisco Samoa romantic adventure thriller (about a sailor who rescues the daughter of a ship owner, and the grateful ship owner gives him a job on one of his ships, and when the ship sails to Samoa, the captain is killed by natives, and the young man takes over as captain, and after many adventures, the ship owner gives his blessing to the young man marrying his daughter) starring Thomas Meighan, Agnes Ayres, Charles S. Abbe (in the title role as Cappy Ricks), Hugh Cameron, John St. Polis, and Paul Everton. Note that this movie proved very popular and had two sequels. In 1935, a sound version was made, and that movie also had two sequels! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different scene card and a Danish poster from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this second lobby card!
