An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Affairs of Cellini, 1934 Gregory La Cava Florence Italy historical sculptor romantic comedy ("At noon... she demanded his head!"; "At midnight... she lost her own!"; based on the play by Edwin Justus Mayer; about a famous Italian sculptor who was far more interested in having affairs with the most beautiful women, whether or not they were married, which put his life in jeopardy) starring Constance Bennett, Fredric March (in the title role as Benvenuto Cellini), Frank Morgan (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Fay Wray, and Vince Barnett. Note that Frank Morgan's performance (along with Franchot Tone's in Mutiny on the Bounty) lead the Academy to create the Best Supporting Actor category. There is staining in the center of Bennett's red dress, and there is light water staining in the left border and in the left of the bottom border. There are pinholes and tiny scuffs at top center.
