A 1937 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 18") (Learn More) David Harum, the 1934 James Cruze historical romantic horse harness racing gambling sports comedy ("From the novel by Edward Noyes Westcott"; about a banker who foolishly takes a large bet from a young man on a horse race, and the horse wins at 10 to 1 odds, and the banker is forced to take the young man as his partner) starring Will Rogers (in the title role as David Harum), Louise Dresser, Evelyn Venable, Kent Taylor, and Stepin Fetchit NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 18". Also note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: fair. The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. The card had many tears around the edges and someone put much tape on the back. There was also a semi-circular tear in the top center of the card, running into the "A" of "DAVID", and that too was repaired from the back. There was a V-shaped tear near the middle of the card in Taylor's shoulder. The bottom right corner of the card was missing and someone taped a piece of another card to the back of that area and filled in the missing part of the writing credit.
