An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More)

A Woman's Devotion (released in France as "Acapulco"), the 1956 Paul Henreid romantic mystery crime thriller ("Lover... or love-mad?"; "The lovers of Picnic... together again... closer..more wildly in love..."; "Story and Screenplay by Robert Hill") starring Ralph Meeker, Janice Rule, Paul Henreid, Rosenda Monteros, and Fanny Schiller. Note that the IMDb says that this movie was also released as "War Shock" and that it was later re-released as "Battle Shock", but we have never seen any movie paper with the title "War Shock", and we have never seen any re-release paper. However, we have seen studio-issued snipes with the title "Battle Shock", and those say "Formerly Titled 'A Woman's Devotion'". Newspaper ads promoting "Battle Shock" began appearing in 1957 and lasted to at least 1959. If anyone knows more about any of this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. There is light rippling and slight discoloration scattered in portions of the poster due to exposure to moisture. There are also a few small pieces of white tape on front of the corners (they were not put there for any restoration purpose). Please see our super-sized image to get a good sense of the condition of this item prior to placing a bid and please do not bid unless you can accept the defects described above, or you are willing to pay to have them properly restored.
