An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Comrade X, the 1940 King Vidor Communist Russia Communism newspaper journalism reporter romantic comedy ("The funniest Love comedy since 'Ninotchka'!"; "Screen play by Ben Hecht and Charles Lederer"; Billy Wilder's Ninotchka with Garbo as a female Communist had been a big hit the previous year, so MGM made this movie with a similar plot and with Hedy Lamarr as the beautiful female Communist, and they even referenced Ninotchka in their advertising!) starring Clark Gable, Hedy Lamarr, Oscar Homolka, Felix Bressart, Eve Arden, Sig Ruman, and Natasha Lytess NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
