An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Skin Deep, the 1922 Lambert Hillyer silent post-World War I (WWI) romantic crime melodrama ("A leap from a runaway train to an airplane ---!"; "Ah! the thrill - the thralls - the sensation in Thomas H. Ince's Master drama of dual personalities"; "Yes! the loves - the fights - the conquests of Thomas H. Ince's Master drama of dual personalities"; "By Marc Edmund Jones"; about a World War I hero who is framed and sent to jail, and he escapes by catching on to a passing airplane that lowers a rope ladder, and he falls, and is disfigured, and has plastic surgery, and no one recognizes him, and he returns and sets everything straight) starring Milton Sills, Florence Vidor, Marcia Manon, Winter Hall, Charles Clary, and Joseph Singleton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: fine. The slide has survived in about as nice condition as one could possibly hope! Learn More about condition grades
