Note that this is one of ten lots of linenbacked Mexican posters we are currently auctioning, in ten separate auctions. Our consignor had a large collection of linenbacked Mexican posters, and we will be auctioning a number of the "better" ones in our August Major Auction. But he wants to liquidate his less valuable ones quickly, so he authorized us to put them in these ten bulk lots. They are quite possibly going to sell for discounted prices, and dealers or collectors who buy these lots will probably be able to sell some of them and end up with one or more for "free", and possibly make money besides! Note that the items in this lot are mostly from the 1950s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Measurements: each measures approximately 27" x 37"Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Each of these posters were backed by the Poster Mountain linenbacking company in California. They backed them well, but they did them in a somewhat "minimalist" fashion, with a lesser amount of restoration, but fortunately, the posters did not really need it, although some or many have standard border defects or slight image defects.
