Note that fantasy artist H.R. Giger did the wonderful art that was used to create the alien and the alien planet, but his art was not used on any of the regular posters, only on special prints created after the movie became a hit! The poster has partial pieces of clear tape in two portions of the upper and lower edges (not put there for any restoration purpose). It has creases running along he vertical foldline and a few faint smudges and scuffs around the edges. There are a few tiny dot stains in the lower vertical foldline.
