Deadline - U.S.A. (released in England simply as "Deadline", for obvious reasons!), the classic 1952 Richard Brooks racketeering expose newspaper editor journalism melodrama ("20th Century-Fox savagely turns the spotlight of truth on revenge killings that shocked a nation!"; also written by Richard Brooks; to my mind the best newspaper movie ever made!) starring Humphrey Bogart, Ethel Barrymore, Kim Hunter, Ed Begley, Warren Stevens, Paul Stewart, Martin Gabel (in a great performance as the crime boss, Rienzi), Joe De Santis (billed as "Joseph De Santis"), Joyce Mackenzie, Audrey Christie, Fay Baker, Jim Backus, Dabbs Greer, Harry Tyler, John Doucette, Parley Baer, and Willis Bouchey

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning!

Condition: fair to good. The poster has creases, smudges and scuff marks scattered throughout (see our image). There is a very large tear at lower center that extends through Barrymore's credit (backed by conservation tape) and there are some other defects that can be clearly seen in our super-sized image. After proper restoration the very rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
